Let me take a chance to pitch our Essential Kit as we have users who used Apple Plugins as well as GPGS for game services earlier. Here is the core feedback what they gave us why they choose Essential Kit and happy with it.
- Being a unified api for both iOS and Android, they don’t need to rely on multiple plugins
- Being zero dependent on external libraries.
- It’s been very long they(Apple Unity Plugins) haven’t fixed some core problems like FetchItems Api. We have it working for many years now.
Yes, all of our features are natively implemented by ourselves as it gives us more control and better update cycles compared to others.
For ex: Billing Services in V3 implements Store Kit 2 on iOS and V7 Billing Client on Android. If we were dependent on external implementations, we don’t know when we can offer Store Kit 2 framework to our customers. Thats why we always implement the main features from our end.
If you see it lacks any features, you can always post a feature request. If it’s possible on both iOS and Android and see it a valid suggestion, we are up for it.
