I'm extremely sick of the product info page on itunes connect. Every time I update an app, the form auto-populates the optional Application URL field with "http://", resulting in a broken support link on the product page if not manually cleared out or appended. Shouldn't any intelligent web designer know that it should auto clear on submission if the user doesn't alter the contents of that field? I think I've had to go back and clear out that field about 4 times now through various apps and updates.
You would better direct that to apple
though the question is what you enter there because theoretically you are required to provide a support adress of some form.
Support URL = company website. Required.
Application URL = app website. Optional.
Applicaiton URL is the one with the problem. I’ve notified Apple, but you know how they are about answering emails.
