Hi guys, I’m relatively new to Unity. Recently I tried to add a texture (bricks) to one of my 3d object. The problem is, that with objects that are irregular (such as cuboids) the textures end up stretching unevenly along the object - so in some places the bricks are stretched more than in the other ones. Is there any way to make it even in all the places, using a simple seamless texture, or do I have to use Blender/3DMax?
Thanks in advance.
You gotta lay out your UVs (UV mapping). Here is a good tutorial: The Basics of UV Mapping - YouTube
