Hello!
I’d like to share some of the work Cat On The Roof did during this year for Graph-Art, a Hungarian children’s book publisher. The client wanted to expand it’s reach to new audiences as well as blend their beautiful illustration books with the ever-growing mobile market. We were assigned the task of taking Graph-Art’s 2D illustrations and bringing them to life through 3D projections and animations. This was later on assembled in Unity and taken to an AR platform. Here is a demo reel of our work:
Thanks for watching!
Mr.Cat
Good job! Only comment would be I could barely read the text
Yeah… true…
Didn’t notice it until now. Oh well…
It’s really beatifull. Great Job!
Looks great, but what is the AR part of it?
Thanks! We were assigned the 3D modeling and animation tasks, so this is what we’re showing in this reel. The app uses an image trigger which overlaps the actual illustration of a physical book and blends with the 3D scenes.
I am curious to see the AR part in action. I love making AR stuff. Currently it is just a very standard but well done animation. How the AR is implemented could make it good or bad depending!
Yes, the client requested simple loop animations. The technical AR coding is not our area
