I’m using Unity3D 5.4 with Enlighten. I would like to know if have any tools in which you could make a relationship with IES profiles. The light for archviz in unity with enlighten dont have a relationship with intensity and range with lights on real world. I need something that u can put the lumens and the ies profile on the light, have any tool for this?
I try Cookies but the result is not so good with IES
This is the problem, you buy 3 licenses of the pro version of unity and support continues being forum that by the way has nothing on archviz. I’m really thinking about migrating to Unreal. Not wanting to speak ill of unity but to show that there are other markets in which it is neither there. My company is small and only has 3 people but even buying the licenses pro support is still a forum where nobody answers and when they respond is not official. I’m really disappointed
If you need official suppoort you should check out Unity Premium Support.
Wonder where all the unity developer could be on a “Saturday” or a “Sunday” …
3.Unity does not support IES files in any way but there are some packages that can help you with that.
A 3 Second search for “unity ies” on google you get two assets that should work for you.
If you need more accuracy that you have in tools like maya or 3d Max you should try to bake light in there.
If you think that the Unreal engine is the better tool for your project, you should switch.
You try to log in on premium support and not works
You right
I have all packages about ies and is not good enought
If I need to bake in maya and 3ds I will need bake everything there
I dont need to think anything, I just seee that in unity roadmap have nothing about IES…NOTHINGGGGG
Archviz is forgotten by Unity
