Are Skyrim models open source?

I plan to make a new game using Unity3d. I recently learned that Skyrim models could be ripped using some software along with the animation. So, I was just wondering whether I can use the ripped models for my game. If not, tell me some games from which I can get/rip 3d models (legally).

P.S. I have just started learning modelling. So, until then I want to use some free models.

Ripping models from any game is a big no. Using them in another game can cause all kinds of legal problems. But i am not a lawyer, but i assume this would be the case. So you are best to use free models from the internet/asset store and ensure the licence allows you to use them.
