Are there alternate editors for Unity, and if so, what is best for us java junkies?

Just wondering if other java folks have found a alternative editor they like. Thanks!

Sorry for the late reply. In 99% of cases, it's usually not the best option to use OnMouseX in your game, as it doesn't return specific values about the object you're interacting with. Instead you should probably do a raycast from your mouse position so you can check what's being hit and stuff. That aside, you could just call a separate function from OnMouseUp or what have you, then in that function you find the objPosition and mousePosition.

Alternative to what? Visual Studio? MonoDevelop? Notepad++? Microsoft Word?! You can edit code in any of these and many more, but don’t know why you’re referrong to Java - perhaps you mean to use Android Studio instead of Unity.

Oh Thanks!!! I tried Raycasting and it works.
