Unity’s tutorials were amazing and it was refreshing to actually find the basics of something explained in game development, but they seem to only relate to 3d scenes. I’m not really sure how to make a 2d game instead. Or is Unity primarily for 3d games?
ya unity is more about faking 2d. rather than actually being 2d. knowledge in 3d is still good to have as it is all required. if you goto the unity asset store and search some of the 2d game making assets they have tuts on their sites that can get you started. also the unity website has a 2.5d tutorial using the lerp character. i cant remember but i think it still needs you to do the 3d tut 1st.
