Hey all. I’m an iOS developer but my boss wants me to get smart fast on Unity, and has said that he’ll send me to a Unity “boot camp” if I can find one. I’ve done a bit of googling to no avail. Does anything like this exist? Like a one-week intensive in-person seminar to get me up and running?

I see you want a quick way to learn it, and I’m assuming you got the basics of programming down, and I’m assuming you want to learn the advanced stuff.
If you get a group of people together, you could pay an expert to come to your classroom for a week by splitting the costs. Get your boss to train several programmers in the company, because a trainer costs the same no matter how many people he or she teaches, and learning unity takes self directed work. You don’t want to pay the trainer while you sit around and program. Absent of that, you could look for night classes at a technical college. If you want someone to tutor you, get him to pay an expert in your area???
There are some intensive training seminars are professional game development conferences.
There is also Digital Tutors but they merely give you an introduction on scripting.
How about your boss pays to make an arrangement where you intern at a company that does ONLY unity for a few weeks?
There is also the Premium Support service from Unity, but I don’t know how good it is.
Most of the stuff out there gives you an introduction but nothing like mastery of unity. Good luck.
