Are Unity's example projects outdated? If so, what is the solution?

I just downloaded some of the examples in the tutorial and project examples support page. While they run smoothly in the online demo version, they ask me for an upgrade when I try to open them in the editor, and won’t work afterwards. I’ll illustrate with an specific example, but please keep in mind this happens with several of the provided packages:

13 error and 8 warning messages pop out in this case.

I can only guess it is because of them being outdated. I was wondering if there was any way to get them to work properly, maybe even some user-corrected files.

To my knowledge - yes , most are absurdly out dated … that said - some of them also require Pro - for eg - the dressing room example you posted.

Ah, I didn’t even think of that. I’m actually using the free version so I guess that could also give some problems.
