Are You Ticklish?

That was funny!

This is a sad day.

This forum is for game development with the Unity platform. We don’t mind general computer/game related geekery, but please try to keep it related to game development (even in the game gossip area)

I completely fail to see the point of this post. Ghost, if there is a game-development reason for making this, please enlighten the old and surly among us. If not, then try to be more on topic next time. Thanks!

harsh, i think it would be a bad thing for new people coming here looking to see unitys famously nice community to see this post

although I agree it is out of place, i dont think it harmed anything and deserved that

Come on this wasn’t harsh.

Actually when you’re taking a look at what Ghost has posted in #Gossip so far then you’ll notice that it’s not the only thread which has nothing in common with computer/games or stuff like that so i think it was a little advise what should be in there and what not.

There are two ways you can handle this a) everything is allowed, which will blow up you forum if you don’t have reasonable members or having a lot of active members or b) trying to primary keep it up to the topic and leading members into the this direction and deleting threads which really shouldn’t be there. Both sides have pros and cons.

Compared to some other forums we’re doing pretty well here so far. Personally i like it if there also shows up non related stuff if it’s interesting or funny (subjective, huh?!) but i also don’t wanna get spammed by threads which tell me about new nail colours (until i can’ filter these)…so i think we’ve a good balance here so far. Maybe i’ll change my mind within the next hour… ;O)

Here’s my vote to have Ghost disciplined. I’m especially getting sick of the double-posts.

If Someone Told Me How To Delete Subtopics! :x

When you post, you press the submit button once and wait for the page to reload. Done.

We all have double-posted at least once, but 99% of the time it’s avoidable.

I edit a lot of my posts after I make them. Hit the edit button. Add words. You don’t need to “reply” when you decide to say something new.

:expressionless:

I appreciate the tips, most of the time it is stuff that is new to me. I also appreciate a little humor mixed in with on topic stuff.
