Hi there:
I get a green flickering in the background of the device’s camera view whilst using ARFoundation in Unity.
I’ve attached a video to show what I’m talking about, and attached a screenshot:
Anyone know why this is happening?
-I’ve tried this build on other devices (Samsung Galaxy Tab S6, Samsung S8), and get no green flickering issue.
-Other apps don’t give me this issue, just this Unity ARfoundation app I’m currently testing.
-I’ve tried to spawn a simple cube primitive as the model that appears (instead of the complex 3D model that appears in the video), still get green flickering).
-The green flickering starts before the Tracked Image is even detected.
-This didn’t always happen; during testing, whilst the device was plugged into the computer, the device suddenly rebooted, and ever since then, I have this green flickering issue. All the previous builds before it started now cause the same issue.
Things I’ve tried:
-Other devices (mentioned above) work fine.
-Spawning Different 3D models (i.e. ARObjects), still get green flickering in background (starts even before Tracked Image is detected).
-Disabling everything on the ARObject except the 3D model.
-I factory reset the tablet. Didn’t change the issue.
-Tried Upgrading to ARFoundation 4.1.1. All I get is a black screen when running the app (says development build in the bottom right corner), no camera feed.
-I briefly tested the arfoundation-samples version 3.1 Scene (as is, no changes, except with ARFoundation 4.1.1 et al installed) : “ImageTrackingWithMultiplePrefabs” and I seem to get no green flickering issues.
Happy to provide dev files/logs if needed.
Any help would be much appreciated!
