ARM Support

I’m being requested to port our Unity3d app to the Jetson TK1

I’ve read about a request for a linux arm platform.
http://feedback.unity3d.com/suggestions/platform-support-for-arm-linux
While there’s some interest, it doesn’t seem like there’s been comment by Unity on this.
I’ve got a little less than a year to sort this out so it’s not a burning issue.
If anyone has any suggestions or if I can get on a beta that would be ideal.
Otherwise, maybe we can try an android version.
Thanks,
Eric

There are currently no plans for an ARM Linux build target. Sorry :frowning:

Bump… I have been reading around a lot, and I can tell you there is quit a bit of interest in a ARM Linux build for Unity3d.
Not only do I want to make games for the platform I want to develop on it too. I hear people say that it would be pointless arm is to low power for games… well if you have a Jetson tk1 sitting next to you, you would disagree… has anyone else played Minecraft on a raspberry pi? NEAT. Why do I want to develop on ARM you might ask?, well right now I use a powerful laptop… 25 min battery time while using Unity3d… not a lot of time to work on things. A laptop with a arm or atom I could use for 2 hours plus. Arm computers would also make good games servers for the small time developer due to its low cost and power usage. Also I have 4 computers all taking 400+ watts I’m poor and trust me I want to upgrade to as power efficient as I can… the Jetson tk1 could replace 2 of my computers if ARM had more support. My point of saying all of this is ARM is the future. Get on board, lets get ahead of the curve on this one… This shouldn’t be a big deal!

PS. Lets empower under privileged kids!

A little added note to my last post… Ubuntu for phones! Where are the games!

There are ways to run android apps/games on linux, just google it
