Hey guys, I started an IndieDB to show development progress on my current game (still in the early) works, called Armed Legions.
The game is simple, you have two armies (The Blue Army, and The Red Army).
Each army has a base, that you have to fight and to completely destroy the other armies base, or die defending your own.
Each player will earn in-game credits via your oil factory, or attacking and/or defending your base.
By earning in-game credits, you can use your credits to purchase new character classes, or even buy a tank, apc, and more! Even special weapons like Nuclear Missiles, etc.
This is an intense team based game, probably 20 vs 20 players. I may go for more, not sure yet.
If anybody is interested in testing please let me know!
I will soon be getting ready for testing soon!
(Keep in mind all the graphics for like the buildings and UI and even vehicles, are placeholder items for now!) I’m working out functionality before polish.
Here is the link to our IndieDB to keep up to date on progress if you are interested!
I will be sure to do that starting on my next update I will post. Which may be a couple of days.
Which again may be more functionality tests than polish. Just dont want to spend time polishing things that may change later, if that makes sense? lol.
Yes of course polish should always come last, no point polishing a game then coding the gameplay and finding out it’s not a fun game! But it’s still nice to see some pictures, even if they’re incomplete, this is the work in progress forum after all
Yeah I agree, I just hate to work on things two or three or four times, rather make something once and leave it as it is, but I learned quickly years ago, game dev isn’t about doing something once, it’s about doing it until it’s right lol.
