Hello Unity forums. I am one of the texture artists who worked on Army Antz. I am announcing the the project here on behalf of TKO Gamez and the rest of the team. Please have a look and share your thoughts. If you like the idea, please also consider having a look over at the Kickstarter page, and tossing in to see Army Antz finished.
Army Antz is an Overview Real-time tactics game. We are going with a Cartoon look for the game with toon shaded colors. Army Antz features lots of fun with single or multiplayer online play with many characters, each with their own class of weapons to choose from.
You will be able to play it on your big TV right from your iPhone or iPad with your family or friends using your Apple TV.
Our current goal is creating our finished project for the iPod/iPhone/iPad. Then after port it to the Android, maybe one day on XBox, PS3 and Wii.
GAME PLAY:
Our game will be a Real-time tactics game. The main objective is to take down the other team. You will be tapping away at the screen to direct your team further into the battle field, but don’t rush, cause if you don’t strategize, you just might not make it back. Take out the other players weakest link or group your team up and take the biggest Ant down. It’s a Onslaught War.
For the best example for game play check out “General Choas” for sega 1994

I just started making a game like this earlier, then logged on here and saw this first, before anything else. Welp. Amazing, but almost discouraging-ly amazing. Time for a new project. Good luck!
