Yepp!
During summer vacation last year I played around with the TornadoTwins tutorials (http://www.youtube.com/watch?annotation_id=annotation_60547&feature=iv&v=5-X-Ebh1kYA) and learned a lot about Unity, scripting and game development in general. Once I thought I’ve gotten the hang of it, I started to modify it and add stuff like timer and highscore. You can play the prototype here: http://kweiko.abbascenter.com/projects/armyofone/
After finishing that prototype, I decided to take it to another level (correct, Ruben? ) and make a real game of it, with gameplay focusing around body physics, fast paced gameplay and - shooting!
It’s a risky combination of genre, so this is a great opportunity to experiment with my favorite genres!
The development will be ongoing until June this year, and the plan is to have a polished demo of Army of One. I’d love to get feedback and tips along the way. I’m writing updates regularily, and if you’re interested please drop by my blog: http://kweiko.abbascenter.com/
I hope you’ll like the concept.
Thank you for reading! ^^
