Arrow Demo released!

After a long test run with feedback from users, we are finally releasing the first version of our demo.

The demo contains two levels, showing some of the upcoming mechanics of Arrow, along with the cut scene introduction. Extensive testing has allowed us to make changes that we never thought we would make, but we have made them for the better.

Please note that this demo will be updated frequently and changes will be made if we see fit.

Visit here to download the demo!

We are also having fun at the Ohio Game Developer Expo! We’ve been getting invaluable feedback from players that we’ve been using to create a better demo. We have also been removing various bugs. Finally, we have been playing with various Oculus Rift booths here, and are considering supporting the Oculus Rift one day in Arrow!

Early this week, we plan on updating the released demo for Arrow after modifying it using suggestions from other players here at the convention. People are loving the game and the concept, and have been giving us much-needed support for the game.

Hi,

looks interesting (and like it could be really fun).

One piece of feedback on the puzzle. When you enter this room, if you neglect to take the box with you as instructed and you drop into the room, you seem to be stuck there. well I got stuck anyway, until the green region you see there threw me out.

This room like to throw me out to space

Goodbye cruel world!

And good luck with your game!

Thanks for trying it! Yes, our designer is redesigning that level with a new Block type. The current block it uses aiso the Propel Block, but seeing as it’s difficult to apply forces to a character controller, we’re omitting it and redesigning the level for the beta update.

Some gameplay footage.
