Art Challenge - RTS Buildings

Hey there folks,

Our Unity Art Challenges will now run for two weeks at a time instead of one week. We also have a Jury consisting of Unity Technologies officials judging your work after finishing the challenge and therefore there will be a winner in the end.

We currently don’t have any prizes or the likes but knowing that you did excellent should suffice for now (or so we hope).

The new challenge this time: RTS Buildings

Cool stuff!! What happens to the art then? Will it be for the community for demo projects? Just curious. Great idea with the competition.

The Winner will go into the “Gallery” section on the site (Special place to be). The winner may also share his work with the community (up to the artist) so people can examine the art asset and learn a thing or two from that

Ah nice! Have this sitting on my harddisk as side project as a “when I have time one day write a better Command Conquer clone” thingie. So if there’s interest, I could share this project as test bed for the RTS buildings.

Start webplayer

C&C style unit selection with left and right mouse buttons. Mouse wheel to zoom. Point and click to move unit. Selection rect only works currently from top-left to bottom-right… ahhh… more time…

Very nice Martin. Feel free to post this in the Challenge thread over at the “Unity Artist”

Thomas
