Artifacts In Lightmap



I’m getting these horrid artifacts in my light map. I assume it has to do with the fact that my game is made up of tiles but I still don’t know how to fix it. Any help would be appreciated. It’s also distorting textures in run time and stretching them out.

Did you properly UV unwrap the tile before baking it?

Either you did, and you baked with very low quality settings. Bake with better quality settings, that should normally work. Not too high though.

Turning of Baked Global Illumination completely fixed the problem, but now I don’t have GI so I’ll try this fix.
