Artifacts with 4 terrain layers

Hello, I’ve been having this issue since last year, I’ve been running on the Unity 2021.3 LTS versions for 2 years and noticed that if a terrain uses at least 4 terrain layers, and they are all “conflicting” then white patches will show up, this seems to be an internal problem with the engine it self, no matter what project, textures, etc, I use then this problem shows up.

Resetting my pc, updating drivers, does nothing, and it’s not only me that has this problem, many people suffer from this issue! I tried changing devices and nothing changed!

For example here is what happens on a terrain that uses 6 terrain layers


But it only happens in the game view or in any builds!

(the white particle is fog by the way, that isn’t the issue, just focus at the ground!)

For more information, I’m using the built in pipeline, deferred rendering path, linear color space, the built in post processing, unity’s standard terrain shader and I’m running Unity 2021.3.38f1

The problem only beccomes more apparent during night times, during day times you can slightly see the white patches but instead there are black patches!

Please, any unity intern, take a look at this, instead of redoing the forums, fix the errors inside the engine first!
