This feature has been missing for way too long! Thank you Unity! ![]()
Yes, looks good. It would be nice with patch releases there also.

It took me about 10 seconds to find an issue. Its version detection seems to be broken, e.g. it detects 2017.1.2p2 as 2017.1.0b1. ![]()
My first thought on seeing the announcement in my news feed was āGreat, more Unity servicesā¦
ā
But after reading and seeing what it is, Iām very excited. Being an Asset publisher will be much less of a pain in the ass now, I hope.
Though, of course, Iāll wait until a few more releases of it before jumping aboard. Donāt have much time or patience for workflow-breaking bugs these days. ![]()
Just downloaded an played around with it. Itās great!
Few suggestions:
-
Allow users to choose where to install Unity Hub
-
Add multiple Unity editors by scanning a directory (I have a Unity folder in a D Drive with all versions installed. I had to manually add them one-by-one)
-
Set an option for default download/install location for Unity versions
-
Add pre-2017 Unity versions to download.
-
Add an option to open Unity projects based on project version
-
Add option to filter out projects based on version compatible
Issues/Bugs:
- I get āYou donāt have this Unity version on your machineā dialog. Even though I do have it.
Oooh, finally! Nice. ![]()
Nice, sometimes I have as much as 3 versions of our game over different versions of the engine ![]()
