ASIAN DRAGON (rigged, skinned and animated)

Hi there! We’re excited to announce the upcoming release of our new asset: a powerful Asian Dragon ready to populate your project and give a little bit more of spice and exotic feel. This creature is 10.2 Ktris and comes with 40964096 diffuse, specular, normal textures ( body ), 20482048 diffuse, alpha, normal textures for the crest and a 512512 diffuse, alpha for the hair. A10241024 illumination texture is also included to make the eyes glow. Some hair variation will be available as well as some tint variation for the body and crest. 19 animations are included. rig is 104 bones.

Is this going to be included in Monster pack? Also the animations are hard to blend, I’m not sure if animations are the right way, maybe should be doing IK.

Your creatures are definitly some of the best assets in the store :), my game will be full of them :slight_smile:

Thus creature is the first creature of a future heroi fantasy creatures full pack volume 2 that will contain once finished 30 creatures. Will create a thread for it soon with a detailed list of the monsters included.
As for the animation… Niy sure what you mean.

For any computer game is important to not only have animations, but it is important to be able to blend between animations:

It enables to real time adjust animations according to need (via engine) and thus limiting number of necessary animations. With 50 well designed animations you can achieve effect like with 1000 not blending friendly…In 2014 it is must.

Nothing new here. It’s not what I was wondering in his caws. Does he have problem blending soma animation. Did he actuall y purchase the model in order to say that etc… I created left and right variation for running and flying in order to have a nice blending between going straight and making a full turn. Via a percentage of blending on top of the straight on you should be able to achieve some smooth result. If you plan on blending a bite animation with the flying one. Indeed it might be an issue. Unless you just plan on having the mouth open. Here again I’m not sure what he meant with the problem with the animations.
