i want to achiev playstation look but my project look clear and i want some jaggy line and look more even low res, how can i do that?
If you want it to look low res, then wouldn’t you lower the resolution in the quality settings?
To achieve the playstation look, you need to first emulate the following:
CPU: 32-bit RISC (33.8688 MHz)
Graphics: GPU and Geometry Transformation Engine(GTE), with 2D rotation, scaling, transparency and fading, and 3D texture mapping and shading
Resolution: 256×224 to 640×480 pixels
So looking at that you want it to look pretty dated and horrible so please post screenshots of the specific look you’re looking for
where is the quality? on exe my lowest setting is just resolutin 640 x 480 by default?
I got the spec i want it quite jaggy since the resolution that i want is 366 x 240 and want it to be default resolution
i think more like this photo (clock tower) and yeah that is horrible but is kinda build the horror
Alright although that image does seems slightly software antialiased. I guess all you really need to do is render to a texture as you would normally but set the texture dimensions to half or quarter and set it’s filtering to point. Then just blit to screen.
The thing is, it will never look accurate to memory unless you start also emulating fuzzy CRT…
i do make the texture at 64 x 64 and max by 128 x 128, i was inspired by back in 1995 trailer. it is possible to make the default screen unchanged by player/locked so the game will render at 366 x 240 but the aspect ratio is streched to screen size ?
