Dear Forum,
being happy with my 2D-Project on the Android tablet version, I build and run for iPadPro 13" (the biggest format). The UI fits perfect. To close the gaps, the background images have due to wrong format, I returned to my graphic app to make all background pictures bigger, exported them and put them into the scene. For Android, I have a lot of image overlap with my canvas, but that extra flesh/ meat is then used on iPadPro. - But it isn’t! Unity stretches the images and I wonder, where I can set this up. Maybe you can help me?
- I use the Scale for x and y to fit the iPadPro. Or:
- I re-imported background images I edited for the iPadPro format.
- I do not use Aspect Ratio Fitter component, as I don’t clearly understand it and for my approach this week, the Scale works simply and good.
- I do not set up any presets/ parameters in the Player Settings.
Does XCode interfere here anyhow?
I already asked several AI’s and read through the manual, but having so many options influencing this, it is pretty hard for me alone. The manual search isn’t great help, so many results for “aspect ratio”.
