I created a project in my previous account, but after transferring the project to a new account, the paid assets I previously purchased were also transferred over, so I am curious about what happens to the licenses for these assets. Please note that the asset license is a single entity, and I am wondering if this will be a problem when it is uploaded to the store or the app is expanded further. thank you
If you don’t end up with asset duplication and use both accounts with the same assets, you should be in the clear. You can check your seats in your dashboard and you can ask Unity to transfer your assets under your new account if any of them end up not migrating.
Thank you for your reply. I have one more question. We are not a corporation, but if we want to allocate seats for assets, is that possible? If what I know is correct, it is impossible unless you are a corporation. I would like to ask you one more time. thank you
I’m not sure, best course of action is to contact Unity support. In theory and as far as I understand, everyone has an organization. When you put together a team, you put everyone into one organization and you can organize your team that way. In that case you should be able to reassign resources between team members even if you do not have real life company. But again, whatever I say, presume or guess, I am not a Unity official, so my guess is as good as your guess at the end of the day.
Your answer was helpful. Thank you
