hey guys, I am trying to install the Asset Server onto my Windows 7 64bit system, however i keep getting the ERROR: no “admin” role. In the change log for the Asset Server it states that V2.0.1f2 fixes this problem, however when i download it, the installation is 2.0.1f1.
How do I go about fixing this error?

Something probably went wrong when initializing the database which the asset server uses, it is first initialized into a clean state and then templates are applied. If they are not applied such things as the “admin” role etc do not exist.
You could try uninstalling and make sure you select the option for deleting current database and then reinstall. If it still fails please file a bug report and attach the logs files you find in C:\Program Files (x86)Unity\AssetServer\log. Drop me an email with the case number and I’ll have a look at it.
Was this ever solved? I’m starting to manage a new project, and creating a server for the first time, and I’m not able to log in for the same reasons. Get ‘admin role does not exist’ every time. I tried un-installing and reinstalling to no avail.
I’m running windows7 64-bit, current versions of Unity and the Server.
