I like to keep my purchased assets up to date. But the Asset Store is sometimes kind of brain dead about what is new or not. For example, I purchased the “Modular Sewer Pack” ages ago (cool pack if you need a sewer level). I see in the asset store there is a new version published recently. But… when you go to your asset list, it doesn’t show it as having a new version. Browsing through the file system shows that I downloaded this on 8/27/11, and there is a new version in the asset store. But nothing to show that my version is out of date. This happens on lots of assets, not just this one. My conclusion: Asset store is deficient in knowing what is updated.
