asset store not working

Hi, first post, tried searching to no avail…

my problem:

when trying to “open in unity” from the asset store, nothing happens at all, no errors or messages. thought it might have been bitfender but i white listed and still nothing… when it does import does it go to package manager? thanks for advice

w10 64bit, bitfender installed

Everything is handled via the Package Manager (in Unity’s top menu: Window > Package Manager) now:
