Apologies if this is in the wrong area, but I could not find a specific “support” channel and am rather new to Unity so I am posting here.
I just tried to purchase a unity asset for $29.95. After filling in my information I clicked the order button, it then said in red letters that there was an error ordering and to contact support. A few moments later I got an auto notification from my credit card company that my credit card was billed the $29.95. How do I go about getting the asset that I was charged for?
Same here, No invoice was sent to me, and it appeared that the transaction never finished. Then my credit card was charged 3 times. Still can’t download Playmaker. There really should be a specific support channel for this stuff. I found these emails in the forums though, sent a message off to each one.
I emailed the manager and she got back to be really quickly if you did not get an invoice number then the payment did not go through and the funds should get refunded back to your account assuming that is what happened. If that is not what happened then the asset store has to contact another company in order to fix the problem. How ever the manager said she could get me in contact with the author of the asset personally so i can purchase it right from the source. I recommend always talk to the manager every one else either has no idea what their talking about or cannot do anything about it lol.
Usually when I buy something on the asset store using paypal it takes a few minutes before I can download it, I guess it must take more then a few minutes for some other people.
It happened to me couple of months before too. The AssetStore was god slow, and I managed to purchase the same item twice. After frustating email with AssetStore support, which they can’t resolve, and paypal also refuse to resolve, I called the credit card company as chargeback.
