I tried loggin in to my Asset Store account, and I forgot my password since it’s been a while. I did the “forgot password” routine, got an email telling me to click to reset password, reset the password…then nothing. When I log in it says “You have to confirm your account before continuing.” but there is nowhere to do this. It acknowledges that I changed the password but it doesn’t actually log me in. I can’t log into the Asset Server either after changing it. I’ve tried this like 10 times Anyone have any ideas?
Any idea? I’m trying to make an asset store purchase, and I can’t.
Have you checked your spam?
Yea, I dont have a problem getting the reset password link, something seems to be breaking after I reset it. It tells me I’ve successfully reset the password and then it tells me I need to confirm. (??)
I’ve emailed support in the meantime.
this is happening to me too. Did you get it fixed?
I’m actually also stuck with this problem.
Can’t log in after reset my password for the asset store. It just says “You have to confirm your account before continuing.”
I have the same problem. Can’t successfully reset my password, and I’d really like to pick up those free mobile licenses this month.
I’m having the same issue.
+1. Me too…
Same.
Same here. No way for me to “confirm” my account and can’t log in.
UPDATED
I searched my email for “unity confirm” and found an email from 6 months ago with the subject “Your Unity Account” which contained the link to confirm my account. After clicking on the link everything worked.
It would be great for unity to support resending confirmation emails, though.
This needs to be fixed!
I no longer have this long deleted / archived / I don’t care email! Password reset is BASIC BASIC functionality for companies who primarily rely on online automation for their support sales as Unity do.
Any ideas other than the old email route in the meantime? I am getting nowhere…
Based on azound’s update above, I searched my past email for an account confirmation from Unity. I found one that was about a year old, but clicking the provided confirmation link only lead to non-existent page. So, the auth system has been reorganized since that particular email was generated. As I really hadn’t used my account for much, I finally resorted to creating a new one - which worked fine.
However, there seem to be a few glitches in the current auth system that make it confusing at the very least (and maybe downright impossible) to use for those in this situation…

Try this - https://accounts.unity3d.com/confirmation (and hopefully it will work for you as well!)…
Thanks, worked perfectly
thank you very much!
Thank you!!
