Asset store refusel.

Hi unity user , and Dev team .

Thank you for viewing this topic as of today 10/31/2013 …

This is related due to my project Boxil being decline without reason …

I know they have all rights to decline without explanation however I need to try to back track to figure out exactly why?

Was decline 2013-09-27…

So I cleaned up some texture’s i was about to resubmit …

Although I 'm curious has anyone been denied and why ?

I do not want to make a huge deal out of this however…

There is no reason for decline… ?

Even after emailing Caitylin …

Sincerely,
Jake D Casper

In my case, some package has been declined in the past, but they always say to me the reasons and always they were technical reasons (camera render errors, bad menu organization, etc…). Besides, they sometimes suggest me to make some minor changes (reduce the size of the package and thinks like that).
I’m very happy with the Unity’s guys working on the Asset Store’s aproval proccess.

Checked that the mail from Unity’s team didn’t end up in your spam filter?

I had my one asset in the store declined twice before it was accepted, both times they sent a short email to the address I had provided when registering for the publisher account giving me a basic reason.

First they told me I had to change the name of the asset. I replied asking if other variations would be acceptable but they never got back to me (I don’t think the address they sent the email from is one you can reply to).

After resubmitting with a different name they sent another refusal due to technical issues in the asset.

They sent a 3rd email after another resubmission just saying it was accepted

I’d be very surprised therefore if they hadn’t even attempted to email you giving a refusal reason - like Glockenbeat says I’d check your spam/junk box and filter settings. Maybe add a note in the submission requesting they send you an email if it gets refused again, though who knows who actually sees it and what their job is.

That happens a lot to me as well! When a submission is declined, you shouldn’t answer to that mail directly and ask for further details. I did that numerous times and if I remember correctly, I never got a reply. The only way to get an answer was by resubmitting and passing them the message like that. It’s weird, but that was the only way I could stay in touch with them so far.
