has anyone else a problem validating his VAT ID on the asset store. I’m trying to purchase something and I keep getting the error that they cannot validate my VAT ID.
I’m having it - once again - it’s really really frustrating 
And again … this really is very frustrating. I tried making a purchase yesterday. Now I’ve just tried it again. The 24h sale lasts another 40 or so minutes. Not happy
Do you need to enter the VAT number each time you buy on the asset store? I think I’ve just entered it once.
You don’t need to re-enter it - but each time, you make a purchase, it is validated again. IMHO, that’s not really necessary because it was validated the first time I entered it. Of course, if that VIES-thingee is online, I don’t mind if they re-check whether my VAT ID is still valid - but unfortunately, quite frequently, it is not. And that’s really annoying.
In fact, today it cost me about EUR 30,00. I’ve tried it again and again - and finally, it went through. Unfortunately, by that time, the sale was over - it was probably over less than an hour before. But instead of the EUR 53,00 that I was shown on the purchase confirmation page, I got an invoice over EUR 79,80.
I did consider doing a refund but I’d rather not hurt a publisher because of a problem that the EU and the Unity Asset Store are creating.
