Assets Imported from FPS Creator/Model Packs

Hello Everyone,

I was looking through the FPSC website, while i noticed that there is written that the Model Packs they sell can be easily Imported Exported to other Game Engines. Since, the model packs look great so was curious has anyone tried this yet?

Can they be Imported to Unity, as they look cheap too.

Made a Post in there too, but somehow your post needs to be judged by some standard b4 its live, and mine is still pending… Lazy Mods

Any information in this matter will be highly appreciated.

Well, what format are the models in?

Dunno, i was just asking for information if anyone has done b4, but i guess… they should be in .X or some format relative to that, as its a DarkBasic based engine.

DBP commonly uses DBO format, which is incompatible to anything.
X is significantly restricted (no multiple uv sets, no multitexturing, …)

Using those model in other engines normally is done through Ultimate Unwrap 3D for example which works great in such an environment.

In my opinion, textures can be redone, only thing i am interested is animations meshes :P, any idea on those?

dbo is no texture format
DBO is pure geometry and animation, and thus what you are looking for :slight_smile:

The textures don’t require conversion.
