Assets Invisible in Viewport

Hi,
I’m having trouble seeing assets in the viewport.
I see them fine in the preview windows, but when I put them in my scene I don’t see them.
Even primitives created from unity won’t show.

when I select them and press F I see my gizmo but no object is visible…

make sure you have the ‘default’ layers showing (that drop-down in the top right of the window)
