Assetstore approval time?

Hello.

How long does it usually take for assets to be reviewed and approved in the assetstore after submitting? In the submission page it said due to the huge number of assets being submitted every day it could take about a week for the assets to be reviewed.
I’m waiting for mine to be reviewed for 2 weeks and just wondering how long does this process usually take.

First make sure you received two emails for each Unity version that you submitted a package for. If not, the submission didn’t complete successfully, despite what the publisher console says. The only remedy in this case is to resubmit.

Updates typically take under 3-5 business days, but new assets can take 4-6 weeks because the Asset Store staff has more to check – your publisher website, support infrastructure, product fit, product description and key images, etc.

In addition, there’s currently a technical issue with the Asset Store staff’s back-end tools that’s preventing them from approving submissions. They said it might take until the end of September to resolve the issue.

Thanks for the info. My asset is a relatively simple one and includes no coding or anything that can cause compiling issues, would it be ok if I had no publisher website but rather just a unity forum dedicated to it?

I’m not a Unity employee; I can’t give you a definitive answer. But it’s probably no.

Make sure to read section 2 of the Asset Store Publisher Submission Guidelines. In particular:

If you don’t want to set up a website, you can create a profile on Unity Connect or ArtStation and provide that URL with your submission.
