AssetStore declined because did not follow installation guide

hi, last week i have submitted an asset to the asset store. today i received an email from the unity QA team explaining that my asset was crashed during the test and they had to decline the asset. i noticed the crash will only happen if the playmakerglobal is not imported properly into the project.

i have documented this installation guide in the asset, explaining how to import the playmaker global variable. but it seem that the QA team did not follow the installation guide i wrote thus lead the project to crash. i have replied an email to the QA team (bugs@unity.com) explaining how to install the asset for the 2nd time. but I’m afraid it will took them a long time to respond to my email. do i have to wait for their reply and review my asset again (is this possible? how is the workflow for the review process? is it possible decline status to become pending review again?), or is it better if i reupload the asset again and return back to the back of the review queue.

have anyone encountered this situation?

You need their approval, that much is certain. Reviews can take a week (more if there’s a conference, like Unite, around)

How is it it crashes? I think for compliance, you code should detect that a piece is missing and warn (at least in the console) about what is wrong and how to fix it.

I think the asset store folks have their own email but support@unity3d.com may help
