Assigning licenses for store content

Okay so here’s the deal. I have a shader set that I want to distribute through the Unity store as a per-seat product. I was wondering, what is the best license to put in the file header comments to show this, mention that I retain the rights, and that it is commercial?

Kinda new to this. Any input from others who have already gone through this process would be most appreciated.

Per seat shaders sounds pretty snidey, what would you be making that needs to be per seat?

We’re making a physically-based shader system that completely replaces the Unity lighting pipeline including the deferred pipeline. It has a complete set of basic shaders covering most common materials, including terrain.

EDIT: It properly integrates with Unity’s surface shader system, so users can also make new custom shaders that utilize the same lighting system.

You can only include your own license if you are releasing your asset for free. Otherwise, you have to release your asset using the default asset store license.

If you want “Per Seat” licensing, then you need to put it in the “Editor Extensions” category.
