Attach two ends of a chain

I’m trying to build a chain of capsules using hinge joints that is attached to a fixed point at both ends so that the chain hangs between them.

I have the chain hanging from on point by making the first capsule in the chain fixed to none (the world) but I can’t seem to get the last capsule in the chain to attach to none and to the capsule immediately before it.

I have tried creating an empty game object and making that a child of the last capsule, using a hinge joint on that and then attaching that to none, but it just swings with the last capsule rather than staying in place.

Any ideas?

Maybe you’ve solved this already, one solution could be to switch the rigidbody component of the GameObject on the “other end” to be kinematic (isKinematic = true).
