Attaching a particle to a moving circle | 2D Game

Hi, I’m new to unity pls help on this, I’m working on a 2D Mobile game of a wheel that will roll left & right depending the controls. I tried to attach a dirt particle on the bottom of the wheel by dragging it on the hierarchy, but when I attach it to the Wheel on hierarchy the particle rolls with the wheel (that is how is it is supposed to be, because it is a circle with circle collider so if I attach something on bottom of it after rolling the wheel the particle also will roll with it), but I don’t want it to roll. because it is dirt and it should be on bottom of the wheel and left or right side depending which direction it is rolling.

pls help if you have a solution.

You can create a simple follower script and attach it to your particle. Once you setup things, set the offset vector. For example you would have an particle system which has (0,-1,0) position diff with the wheel. Set the position offset as you want.
