Audio Loops Off

Hi there,
I have an audio loop which is looping, but not perfectly. It seems as it is hurried by a single beat.

Any ideas?

The problem is either with the sound file or the way it’s being read.

  1. The sound file might itself be too short. If it was originally part of a larger sound file, it could be re-cut so that the loop point is at the right place.
  2. The program isn’t treating the sound file correctly. The most common reason for this is that the sound is of mp3 compression, which tends to add a bit of silence at the end of a sound clip, making imperfect loops.

Hmm.
Well I tested it, by putting the mp3 into Logic at the same bpm, it loops perfectly.

I dont want to use anything but mp3 as for size. The thing is that the loop is too short. It plays, and starts again a half beat to early.

Gave me an idea, but seems strange.

I have tried some other loops. Changed settings but it seems the loop always starts a half beat to early no matter the loop. ??

If anyone has any suggestions of what I could do please pass them along. I would very much prefer to use loops as it will save me a ton of mobile memory.
