Audio output clipped/distorted

Hi,

Even though I have no compressors in my Audio Mixer and no channel meters peaking, Unity seems to hard limit the output to -4.85 dBTP, clipping everything above (I can see this in the captured audio, and clearly hear it while playing the game). Result is a heavily distorted sound, making it impossible to increase the loudness.

Any ideas regarding the cause of the problem?

We discovered this problem,too, when mixing our game. This is really weird. Now that we have some more time, we’ll try to dig deeper into it. Did you make any further discoveries?
