Hey does anyone know why Unity would make an audio clip sound quieter when put on the stage ? As the audio clip sounds fine when previewing it in the Audio Importer but as soon as you put it on the stage it sound really quiet.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

It's been a while since I played around with audio but make sure your Audio Sources aren't too far away from the Audio Listener (usually found on the Camera).
You can also setup some settings like Rolloff Scale in the Audio Manager.
If its a 3D sound - then depending where your character is (audio listener) then it will sound quieter the further you are from it. If you click on the audio clip, and click off 3D sound, then it will always be the same volume where ever you are in the scene
