I wouldn’t be asking unless I feel like I reached the end of solutions. This should be something very simply. Basically its the min/max settings on the audio source component. Why can I still hear my audio from way out of the max radius (yes the blend is set to 3d)? The preview audio in the editor seems to not be refreshing unless I switch audio preview off and on, and even then it seem to get different results from my runtime. Do most people use a third party plugin? It seems like I need to shrink to max to a really small size. I’ve watched the Unity tuts, and they make it look flawless.
Solved. Just use custom rolloff.
