Is there a way to cast augment shadows on real world (like to cast the shadow on replica objects of the real world objects and then superimpose only the shadows on these objects on the real world footage)?
One option is that I calculate the shadow geometry myself and render it as a transparent object, but that would be very costly.
I would suggest turning on Plane Tracking with a special transparent shader that can accept shadows. Here is an example of one I found: Matte Shadow page-2#post-4803875
