Hey, sorry to clutter the forum with an individual post, but I think Dave might be out of town for a bit, and we’re locked out of Unity.
We finally bought our Pro license, but we can’t get it authorized online. We get approved at the website and it says “you’ll be up and running in 5 seconds”, but then it returns a server error and won’t let Unity open up.
Please let me know what else I need to do to get this baby back up and running.
Thanks!!
It’s a server problem. We are working on it.
I’ve got the same problem and Unity won’t start. Is there any kind of a workaround you guys can think of while you get your server working? I’ve got work to do!
EDIT:
There were a lot of “works” in that sentence!
Nope. We’re just plain frozen. Had to send our programmer home two days in a row now. [sigh].
Hey, bigbrainz, I like your math software. What engine did you use to create it?
Thank you!! We’re trying to create a new generation of educational video games. Seems to be going fairly well so far.
We built the existing version with 3DGS. There’s a lot of good things about that engine. It’s seasoned and deep, but its old roots have left it with some massive limitations.
Unity is still young, but it’s vibrant and has a totally different approach that makes it the engine to bet on for the next generation of games. These guys are so innovative I’m sure they’ll quickly fill in the gaps.
I guessed it was 3DGS! Why aren’t you promoting your product on their site?
Well, I did promote it a bit back when it launched, but it’s mostly for kids learning multiplication tables so those guys aren’t exactly the target market. I think over there it’s mostly just a good sample of what you can do with 3DGS.
Maybe I’m missing an opportunity though. It certainly wouldn’t be the first time
I bet quite a few of the people visiting the conitec site have kids and are too busy to teach them anything… I have no experience selling a game, but I do know the more exposure the better.

Heh cool, this is the sort of thing I wish I had had back in the day. Look forward to seeing your Unity version.
Activation is now working correctly again. Very sorry about the hassle.
