Auto generate lighting check box is grayed out

I was trying to turn on Auto Generate Lighting via the check box. Unity 2020.3.3f1
The check box is greyed out and AGL cannot be enabled.
Anyone else seen this?

Go to the Lighting Window and click “Scene” and then “New Lighting Settings” and it should ungreyout the box
