Its possible to turn off, auto keyframe in the animation timeline?
hit the Record button (red circle) in the Animation panel. hide the tab when not editing keyframes. iirc it turns on when the window first activates or when the window is currently active and you select an object with animations.
Haven’t found a way to permanently keep it off, it is a bit annoying when it suddenly decides to record again. I have to make a workflow around it (mostly closing the window the instant I’m done with it).
