Autodesk 3ds Max 2012 x64 -> Unity: Issues with importing Bone-Containing Meshes

I’ve been trying for a few days to import my skinned mesh. I always get the same error. See here what I did:

This is what my script that adds bones, weight and skin to my mesh looks like(… means, repeat through all bones/vertices in the same manner as mentioned the two lines before):

I tried exporting to FBX 2006, 2012 and 2013, same result. Ideas how to solve this?
