Automatically assign blackboard variables within nodes

Hi, it would be great if the variables on the blackboard could be automatically assigned to the nodes variables when their names match and the node is created from the “Add Node” menu. It would be even better if it worked with spaces between words as well.

This indeed sounds like a bug, as we do have a feature for auto-linking variables with a matching name and type from the Blackboard on to the node fields. So e.g. if you have a GameObject type variable on your Blackboard called ‘Agent’, any nodes with a GameObject field called ‘Agent’ should automatically get filled in when the node is added on the graph.

To help us look into this could you let us know more of the use case where you’re hoping the variables would have auto-linked but did not?
