[Available] Complete MOBA Engine

MOBA Engine

We have a complete “game engine” built on-top of Unity for MOBA games, that be used to build games in this genre. After some feedback from the community over the past couple of days, we quickly realized that this is not possible to convert to a package suitable for the Asset Store, as it’s a massive project with many complex and moving parts.

We have decided to offer it specifically to companies looking to build games in the MOBA/Arena Brawler/Top-Down Shooter genre.

More information on features, licensing and demos can be found here: http://circuitsamples.blob.core.windows.net/moba/Engine.html

What information are you looking for specifically? It’s a massive project and providing all technical details here would be way to much information.

i havent found in the link you provide what networking engine is used?

It’s a custom engine built by me.

Is this going to sell?

How Much?

@fholm it is nice to see you release your own template. Where are you going to release at? sellfy or else? How much? i hope the price is indie-friendly

It is available for purchase right now, but it’s not being sold through the asset store.

It is mostly targeted towards companies with funding/capital, and both the features and pricing reflects that. If you want a price quote email development@ff-games.com

Hey!

Forgot to reply yesterday, so it will be sold only through my company since it’s simply too big to put on the asset store, as the engine spans three separate “projects” (game client unity project, simulation logic project and backend services project), and it’s targeted towards (indie-) companies.

Here’s a set of screenshots from games built with this engine.

MIGHT

Dropship Down

As you can see the engine is not only able to build “pure” MOBA games, but also other types of top-down games which work with similar systems. These two games for example uses WASD controls instead of point-to-click.

We’ve uploaded a document with more technical features and limitations of the current engine: http://circuitsamples.blob.core.windows.net/moba/EngineFeaturesAndLimitations.html

I think a series of youtube tutorials would be a good idea.

Hi!

There will be some set of video showcases on YouTube a bit into the future, but since it’s targeted at companies there will not be a “101 - MOBA Engine” type tutorial, at least not now.
